'The Hand'
A giant hand shaped sculpture, custom made and donated to Photomafia Studios, a creative studio dedicated to improving the creative scene for young people in Northamptonshire.
Locally grown foliage, recyclable and reusable mechanics and over 15 diffferent types of sustainably sourced flowers were arranged into this abstract sculpture, designed to complement an experimental photography exhibition by Tyrone Williams.
The scultpure was based on one of the key photographs from the exhibition - the hand.

Guests were invited to touch the scultpure whilst enjoying the art around them.
After...
A few days later, collecting the sculpture to be disposed of responsibly. The flowers were donated to the local childrens forest-play centre, Buds Play. Nothing went to landfill.
